This was a scene I did from a photograph challenge. I made the original barren fields and far-off sterile barn my own. I added glints of snow and moonlight in strategic places, especially the barn roof (hard to show in photos). Brought in a rosy sky on the midnight sky color, put in snow-laden fir trees, and Voilà! ... a fairytale  look.

Framed in black carved wood, it reminds me now of something from the fields near the Black Forest.
