Not Flowers But Toadstools

This painting was has hung in a show at the Eustis, Florida, City Hall. It also was accepted into a juried competition in the 2010 Alabama Pastel Society’s  “You’ve Got That Magic Dust.”

I enjoyed hiking in search of lovely toadstools and found this example. They struck me as looking almost like flowers because of the way the caps were fluted.
