We arrived at another city for a birthday party. Not wanting to get there unfashionably early, we drove down a road and came across a walking path. I had my camera as usual, so proceeded to walk and take pictures. This was the first time I ever saw mangroves. It felt like the scene called for a delicate hand when I painted it.
