In January 2013, I painted a painting a day for 30 days. On Day 21, Little Bird started wondering what it would be like to be a water bird. He visited some birds at a marsh and was intrigued. How would it feel to have a nest on the ground at the bottom of large grassy plumes? What would it feel like to have webbed feet and walk on top of the water and grasses?
