A lovely trek through a preserve with friends led to this painting. It was great fun to hike along sandy trails, never knowing what view would await from the top a hill or behind a stand of trees..

This was the view from the top of one space, our eyes almost going around a small bend and down, then up again in a far distance. I wondered if I would actually make it up that far hill! That was the way we went.

I especially enjoyed putting my own spin on things with this color palette. Enjoy!
